Sonti Nagaraju Garu began his professional journey with LIC of India, where he developed experience in leadership, communication and working closely with people.
Rather than remaining within a conventional career path, he chose entrepreneurship and moved into business, including work associated with Reliance Broadband in Vijayawada.
His entrepreneurial journey later expanded into aquaculture, marine exports, advertising, logistics and other business activities.
These experiences gave him an understanding of something fundamental to public life:
